Savvy has been set up to help Jersey shoppers to be smart, shrewd, well-informed. This free website and weekly e-newsletter features exclusive offers, promotions, shopping events and competitions from an array of shops, services and suppliers.

The concept has been developed by local marketer and self-confessed shopaholic, Jenny O’Brien. As a keen subscriber to e-newsletters from each of her favourite shops, restaurants and bars, she simply found there wasn't enough time to open, let alone read them all to find the best event, promotions and competitions. Savvy.je was therefore designed to bring the best of what’s out there, from fashion to finance, bars to beauty, all in one tidy e-newsletter.

Industry trends show that demand for promotional offers is at an all-time high. According to research by shopping research agency, Shoppercentric“38% of UK consumers are sourcing vouchers online” (August 2009). Searches for restaurant vouchers having increased 226.3% in the last 12 months, with ‘Pizza Express voucher’ the second most searched for term over the period." (Marketing Week, August 2009).
